I was first attuned to Reiki energy
in approximately 1997 from a
friend of a friend. From then on, I
mainly practiced on myself and
on my dogs, too, who have always
loved it. My goats and my sister's
cat also love the energy.

In February of 2008, everything changed. Suddenly it was time to get going
again. There was a feeling of urgency about it. I took my second attunement
in March from Jennifer Worth in Beaverton, Oregon, and I took my Master
attunement in May from her as well.
In August it occurred to me that I had missed a bunch of stuff from my very
first attunement level that I really should have learned, so I took the
combination of the first and second attunements over again, both were
offered together, from Colleen Benelli this time, in Gresham, Oregon.
I had the opportunity to take a class in Karuna Reiki while on vacation in
Vermont in October of 2008. I took the first levels from Trudi Denison and in
her also found a kindred spirit and a friend for life.
